Tieton Cider Works Arrives in Hawaii

Award-Winning Craft Cider Comes to The Aloha State
Tieton Cider Works, a Washington State craft cidery, announces their arrival in Hawaii. Tieton’s award-winning ciders, distributed by Southern Wine & Spirits, are now available in restaurants, bars, and shops on Hawaii, Maui, Oahu and Kauai. Additional seasonal releases will come along later in the year.
Tieton Cider Works was founded in 2008 by Sharon and Craig Campbell on the fruitful land that Mr. Campbell’s grandparents homesteaded nearly a hundred years ago. They now have the largest orchard of cider varieties in Washington and as the cider industry has grown, Tieton Cider Works has emerged as a leader in both craft and quality.
With the creativity and skill of cider maker Marcus Robert, Tieton produces over 10 varieties of naturally gluten-free hard cider. A true farm family, the Campbells oversee the entire process, from growing the apples to pressing and fermenting the juice to blending and bottling the cider. The result is a true taste of the land and of the long tradition of craft cider. “Made with apples from the orchards surrounding the cidery, our ciders really provide a true taste of Washington,” says cider maker Robert.
The Campbells and the whole Tieton team are excited to share their craft ciders with the islands of Hawaii. The cider industry has grown exponentially in the past few years, and Mrs. Campbell has become a leader in the field, organizing both industry events for cider makers to meet and collaborate as well as public celebrations of cider like the Northwest Cider Summit. Mrs. Campbell has a comprehensive knowledge of the long history of cider and is dedicated to sharing it with potential new drinkers.
“Hawaii is such a beautiful place and the climate is ideal,” says Sharon Campbell. “Our ciders are the perfect compliment to sunny days, and also a great way to spruce up cocktails!”
