“All of us on Kauai understand how deeply our community was impacted by the recent flooding. The chefs and restaurant owners at The Shops at Kukuiula are particularly concerned about our local farmers, who provide them with the foundation and inspiration for their diverse food offerings. We hope this event will provide significant support to help Kauai’s farmers to recover and return stronger than ever,” said Stacie Chiba-Miguel, general manager at The Shops at Kukuiula.
Dine Out For Kauai’s Farmers marks the second event at The Shops to support disaster relief efforts on the island. Last month The Shops at Kukuiula, in coordination with Kukuiula Development Company, Hawaii Life Real Estate Brokers and Poipu Beach Resort Association (PBRA), held a Kauai Disaster Relief Drive that raised over $35,000.
